A. Unlike Hydraulic jack which suffer from worn seals & bent frames due to excessive lateral forces, Selson Air Jack need very little maintainance. Monthly lubrication of the inlet & outlet valves is all that is required.
Q. Does it have a warranty?
A. Most jacks come with a 90 day warranty. Selson Air Jacks come with a 12 month warranty and a life expectancy of at least 10 years.
Q. When operating can I use the top plate as a lifting point?
A. The yellow painted headplate is for positioning the headcap on. It is not designed for direct lifting. A headcap must be used for all jack operations.
Q. How long will the Selson Air Jack last?
A. Hyraulic jacks usually need replacing every 2 to 3 years. Selson Air Jacks are designed to last many years. Models built 8-10 years ago are still in use.
Q. Why should I buy a Selson Air Jack when I can purchase a hydraulic jack for $150.00?
